Any tweaks or mods out there worth recommending? There must have been scads of these sold, but I'm not seeing them turn up used........
WebI was going to purchase the CR7s, but the CR8s were much more efficient, fuller sounding, more open sounding, and just plain wonderful. I would HIGHLY recommend these speakers for either mains or surrounds. But you will need a sub if used for mains. WebImpressed by the sound. I also liked the CR67, but the 67's are rear ported and I intended to hang these on the wall. What's not well publicized is that the crc7 can be mounted vertically or horizontally with built in hardware. Also, the logo can be rotated to make it look okay. Ended up buying 3 crc7's to go with plasma.

There is much bass output that is natural, not boomy. Voices sound clear, cymbals sound like cymbals, pianos sound like pianos, etc. They are very balanced from the low bass to the highest highs.
