Engine is clean above this spot. Mechanic initially thought it was an oil pan seal leak so he replaced but leak continued, possibly even a ... I noticed a liquid leaking on left side of engine directly below the motor mount, and I thought it was engine coolant at first glance due to color. But after looking for but not finding any coolant leaking from above, I’m now thinking it’s that motor mount that is leaking and about to go bad on me.

The faults can be open circuit, short circuit or overload. Now if you don’t have any fault, then electrically its OK so this can not have an effect on engine running.
