Plotly.Express, first introduced in version 4.0.0 is a high-level abstraction to Plotly API optimized to work perfectly with data frames. It’s very good, though not flawless. I see the biggest gap in the number of examples or links to the API documentation. Webb6 mars 2024 · Hy Fanilo, Thanks for getting back to me so quickly. Basically I get all charts rendering except the treemap. Below you can see a blank white chart area where the treemap is meant to be. However, If I type fig.show() in my update_treemap function, the treemap renders but not in the dashboard below.

The actual Treemap structure will be based on a binary relation (i.e. (id, parent)). I guess if you give a dataframe to px.treemap the relation will be created from the path you provide.

As it displays parts compared to the whole, but 0 is 0, so you are looking to have 0 represented by some value in order to see it in the Treemap. Maybe another visual is what you are after. regards.
